Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Team Head to lead our EdTech sales operations. In this strategic role, you will oversee sales strategy, team performance, and revenue growth, ensuring we exceed our targets while delivering exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Leadership:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with business objectives.
    • Set sales targets, monitor performance metrics, and drive the team to meet or exceed goals.
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
    • Team Management:
    • Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent, ensuring team members are equipped with the skills and tools needed to succeed.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support professional growth.
    • Motivate the team to consistently deliver exceptional results while maintaining a positive work environment.
    • Client Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor for their educational technology needs.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote products and services.
    • Handle escalations and ensure customer satisfaction across all accounts.
    • Market Analysis and Growth:
    • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive data to refine sales strategies.
    • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments to expand the companys reach.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with broader company goals.
    • Reporting and Optimization:
    • Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for senior leadership.
    • Monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement in processes, tools, and team performance.
    • Implement sales automation and CRM tools to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3-7 years in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in EdTech or a related industry.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
    • Strong understanding of the education technology landscape, trends, and challenges.
    • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
    • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven sales strategies.
