Embedded Software Testing Engineer - Contract Role

Please note that this will be a direct contract role with Mobis and the duration of the contract will be for 2 years. Apply only if you are fine with the contract role.

Position Expectation:

• 1 ~ 2.5 years experience in unit and Integration coverage testing.
• Should have very good hands of experience in using language C/C++/Model
• Experience in using SW testing tools, Vector CAST, LDRA, CANTATA++
• MIL & SIL testing experience is a must have skill.
• Good in testing concepts and test techniques
• Exposure to ISO26262 & A-SPICE compliance for SWE4 & SWE5
• Experience in Automotive ADAS domain knowledge will be an advantage,

1. Develop and Execute Test Plans: As an Embedded Software Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans for embedded software. This includes identifying test scenarios, establishing testing criteria, and executing tests to ensure the functionality and performance of the software.

2. Debugging and Troubleshooting: When issues arise during the testing process, it will be your responsibility to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot any software defects or malfunctions. This may involve working closely with developers to identify root causes and find solutions.

3. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: In a dynamic environment like Hyundai Mobis, effective collaboration is essential. As an Embedded Software Testing Engineer, you will need to work closely with other teams such as software development, quality assurance, and product engineering to communicate test results and coordinate efforts for issue resolution.

4. Test Automation: Implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks is another important aspect of the role. This includes developing automated test scripts, executing automated tests, and analyzing results to ensure the efficiency and consistency of the testing process.

5. Documentation and Reporting: Thorough documentation of test results, findings, and procedures is crucial. You will be responsible for maintaining detailed records and producing reports to communicate the quality status of the embedded software to relevant stakeholders.

6. Stay Updated with Industry Trends: As technology in the automotive industry continues to advance, it's important to stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in embedded software testing. You may be expected to conduct research and participate in professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
