Primary Skills

• Min 5+ years of Linux/Android based Automotive Infotainment (IVI) Application & Framework development
• Min. 3+ years of working Experience in Phone Projection Application (Android Auto, Car Play, Car Life) Development for Linux/Android based IVI Product
• Strong in any of Java Programming, XML GUI programming and OOPS concepts
• Hands on GUI Development using XML
• Experience in usage of OS concepts IPC Mechanism, Process, Synchronization Methods, Multi Threads, Memory Management etc.
• Expertise in working Android 10 and above versions & Android Framework components
• Familiarity with design principles & Design Patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or MVC and preparing Design documents by using UML Design tools - Enterprise Architect /VISIO

Secondary Skills

• Proven Experience as a Core C++/Java, Qt & QML/XML Developer with a focus on Phone Projection
• Knowledge of Phone Projection Lower layers (i. e Google libraries, Apple/iAP libraries)
• Knowledge in Phone Projection compatible/field issues analysis
• Knowledge/Participation Phone Projection Inter-Operability (IOP) Test & Certification
• Knowledge on Automotive Static Analysis Tools (QAC, CodeSonar, SonarQube, Coverity) & Coding Guidelines (MISRA)
• Experience/Knowledge in Android SDK, AOSP, CAR Framework packages, Java, Kotlin, and related libraries
• Experience in Linux based Automotive Application Design on Yacto Buil
• Knowledge on Profiling, Memory Optimization Tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot telematics-related issues.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, agile development environment.
• Experience in working with Agile scrum methodology

• Understand HMI/ GUI/ Functional specifications for IVI along with Phone Projection modules (Android Auto, Car Play, Car Life)
• Requirements Analysis, Design & Develop Complex Requirements for Phone Projection Module (Android Auto, Car Play, Car Life)
• Perform code review & Ensure engineers adherence to standards
• Technically Guiding the team members & Ensure no technical escalation
• Responsible for stabilization of software during car production events
• Perform the role of technical SPOC for the module and Provide Technical solutions to Customer Requirements.
