Team Leader – HR Job Description
Position Title: Team Leader – HR Entity: Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) Reporting Line: Cluster Head Team: Human Resources Location: Ameenpur Plant (Hyderabad)
The Strategic Team Leader – HR is a leadership role responsible for managing and driving the strategic HR initiatives that support the organization’s long-term business objectives. This role involves collaborating with HR teams across key HR functions such as talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, performance management, and workforce planning. Candidate will work closely with Cluster HR Head to develop and execute HR strategies that foster a high-performance culture, improve organizational effectiveness, and drive business results
Key Responsibilities: 1. Leadership and Team Management: o Provide guidance and support to HR business partners and functional HR teams in executing HR initiatives. o Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture within HR to drive organizational success. 2. Strategic HR Planning and Execution: o Partner with senior leadership to define and implement HR strategies that align with the business vision and growth objectives. o Drive the execution of key HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement. o Ensure that HR programs and policies are designed to meet the evolving needs of the organization and its workforce. 3. Talent Management and Development: o Lead the development and implementation of talent development programs to build leadership capabilities and promote career progression. o Guide the development of succession planning to ensure a strong leadership pipeline and organizational continuity. 4. Organizational Development and Culture: o Drive initiatives that promote a positive organizational culture, focusing on values, inclusion, and employee well-being. o Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for organizational improvement, culture transformation, and operational efficiency. o Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during periods of organizational change or transformation. 5. Performance Management and Employee Engagement: o Oversee the design and execution of performance management systems to ensure alignment with business goals and enhance employee performance. o Drive employee engagement strategies, ensuring that employees are motivated, aligned with the company's values, and committed to achieving business goals. o Implement feedback mechanisms such as employee surveys to measure engagement and develop action plans for improvement. 6. HR Metrics and Analytics: o Utilize HR analytics to monitor the effectiveness of HR programs and measure the impact of HR initiatives on business outcomes. o Provide regular reports to senior leadership on key HR metrics, including employee engagement, turnover, performance, and other key talent-related data. o Leverage data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in HR practices. 7. Compliance and Risk Management: o Ensure HR programs and policies comply with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies. 8. Collaboration with Business Leaders: o Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on all HR-related matters, providing strategic insights and recommendations that contribute to business success. o Work closely with department heads to align workforce planning and talent management strategies with operational needs and business priorities. o Build strong relationships across the organization to promote collaboration, understanding, and alignment of HR initiatives with business goals.
Qualifications and Skills: • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in HR leadership, with a focus on strategic HR planning, organizational development, and team management. • Key Skills: o Strong leadership and team management abilities. o Expertise in aligning HR strategies with business objectives. o Proven experience in talent management, performance management, and organizational development. o Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. o Ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior leaders in decision-making. o Knowledge of HR metrics, analytics, and data-driven decision-making. o Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking. o Deep understanding of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices. o Strong commercial acumen o Cross cultural communication & experience o Proficiency in English is required. Other local language knowledge is an asset o Ability to develop course materials and assets in support of learning activities and programs, including but not limited to learning aids, facilitator guides, train-the-trainer manuals, reference guides, instructional videos, and post-training retention programs o Learning design - drive training design and development from Needs Assessment to Delivery (ADDIE) o Proficiency in MS Office Suite
