Purpose of Role:
The position is of an academic administration at MIT WPU and is the designated administrative officer
responsible for the effective and efficient operations of the department within the policies, directions and plans
of the university as a whole.
The position is expected to establish and maintain a collegial work climate, cooperatively leading the academic
administration, statutory proceedings, student life cycle, accreditation towards improved processes,
communications and relevancy.
Job Responsibilities:
Academic Administration:
• Shall be responsible for the entire academic administration across the university.
• Responsible for the entire coordination and communication of meetings related to academic council,
board of management, governing body meeting etc.
• Responsible for jotting the minutes of meeting, circulating and taking follow-up with the respective
stakeholders related to the tasks assigned.
• Design SoPs for various departments and circulate across the University to follow the same.
Statutory Proceedings
• Responsible for the maintaining all the records related to statutory proceedings.
• Ensure all the statutory compliances are addressed on time.
• Laison with the respective authorities as desired.
• Ensure all the records of the University are aligned with the UGC, AICTE requirements.
Student Life Cycle
• Administer and coordinate the academic functions, in order to provide maximum service to students
while ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
• Responsible to maintain the entire documentation of student information. Instrumental in developing
system along with the team.
• Responsible for collating , recording, maintaining and reporting of student records within UGC
guidelines.
• Collaborate with respective stakeholders to facilitate and improve services to students.
Accreditations, Raking and Ratings:
• Responsible for the entire coordination and communications related to rankings, ratings and
accreditation of the various faculty in the University.
All the above tasks shall be executed in coordination with the Registrar.
