AWS Cloud Engineer

Role & responsibilities

- Responsible for handling AWS account Administration, Launching New AMI instances and installing required softwares.
- Better understanding in cloud technology, SDLC models and Networking.
- Closely work with the Development team.
- Knowledge on Backup, Restore and Disaster recovery.
- Responsible for Troubleshooting, Provide the immediate fix for the critical issue and finding root cause for AWS infra level issue.
- Providing Cost Estimation and basic AWS Architecture designing for projects.
- S3 bucket creation and life cycle management & IAM user, policy management
- Deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant prod and lower Environments.
- EBS Volumes expansion and Enable automatic EBS snapshots and backup clearance.
- CloudWatch logs and Alarms configuration.
- Domain Registration and URL Redirection.
- Providing access and troubleshooting the permissions issues in the linux environment.
- Monitoring Prod and non prod environments(Infra monitoring and application level monitoring)
- Managing the security of the AWS services and suggesting ideas for the security improvement on AWS infra side. 

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates with at least 2 to 4 years experience in managing AWS clou application

Technical Skillset:

- AWS Services: EC2, VPC, EBS, SNS, RDS, EBS, Cloud Formation, AWS Config, Auto scaling, Cloud Front, ELB, ALB, NLB, IAM, S3, Route 53 and other basic services.
- Log analysis Tool: Cloudwatch, CloudTrail and Any other monitoring tool.
- Scripting language: Shell Script, Python or any other script
- SCM Tools: GIT
- Application Servers: Apache, Nginx and Apache Tomcat.
- Database: MySQL, MongoDB.
- AWS Certification or Any other relevant Technical certification added advantage.

Work experience in Product development company is preferred
