Cloud Engineer (AWS, Python, Bash, CloudFormation andTerraform)

This is a remote position, We are seeking a Cloud Engineer (AWS, Python, Bash, CloudFormation andTerraform) for one of our clients in the SaaS space.

This is a full-time permanent position.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our cloud infrastructure.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud environment to meet the demands of our growing business, Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, Architect and implement cloud-native solutions, leveraging technologies such as serverless computing, and microservices, Collaborate with development teams to translate application requirements into cloud-based infrastructure solutions, Infrastructure Management and Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization to ensure cost-effectiveness, Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to identify proactively and address potential issues, Automate routine infrastructure tasks using scripting and configuration management tools using Terraform, Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards, Implement security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and data from threats, Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans, Test and validate disaster recovery procedures regularly, Key Technologies: GIT/GitHub, JIRA.

CloudFormation and/or Terraform.

EC2, CodePipeline, Lambda, ALB, Redis, Networking, VPC, AWS CLI, IAM, Route53, CloudWatch.

REST APIs, JSON, JavaScript, GQL.

MSSQL Server, Windows Server, Linux.

Requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, 2+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS hard required), Experience with scripting languages (e g.

, Python, Bash) and configuration management tools, Knowledge of networking, security, and virtualization technologies, Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Benefits.
