HumanX is seeking a highly experienced Plant operations Head for one of its clients. The Plant Operations Head is responsible for driving the strategic and operational goals of all production units. This role oversees the entire production process, ensuring efficient resource utilization, compliance with safety and quality standards, and alignment with organizational objectives. The position is key to fostering operational excellence and maximizing plant productivity for superior performance.

Role & Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities

• Develop and present in-depth reports to senior management, highlighting critical performance metrics, industry trends, and overall operational progress.
• Establish and refine Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) to promote uniformity and a culture of operational excellence.
• Drive continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource usage across all production units.
• Provide strategic direction to manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Contribute to the Annual Business Plan (ABP) by supporting cost budgeting and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Functional Responsibilities

Production Management and Delivery:

• Optimize resource utilization, including materials, labor, and equipment, to balance availability with production requirements.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements in all manufacturing processes.
• Integrate advanced manufacturing technologies to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Ensure timely product delivery while maintaining strict compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Implement Kaizen and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
• Conduct regular audits to identify opportunities for process improvements in scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.

Operational Planning and Coordination:

• Plan and execute production schedules to meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Optimize production scheduling for efficiency and business goal achievement.
• Provide technical input on supply contract feasibility, timelines, and cost estimates to support contract negotiations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials to ensure uninterrupted production.

Maintenance Management:

• Establish and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all production units.
• Ensure equipment reliability and performance to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.

Quality Assurance and Control:

• Establish and implement quality standards and testing procedures through SOPs.
• Oversee quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards, driving continuous improvement.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

• Implement comprehensive safety policies and ensure alignment with environmental compliance standards.
• Drive ongoing improvements in safety and compliance across production units.

People Management:

• Provide leadership and guidance to plant operations teams, fostering collaboration and a supportive work environment.
• Offer ongoing mentorship and constructive feedback to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Support team development through structured improvement and growth initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on production, quality management, and operational leadership.

Education:

• Masters degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering.
• MBA is highly desirable.

Total Monthly CTC around BDT 700k including:
