Job Summary:
The Sales Head will be responsible for driving sales growth and building distribution networks for the company's rooftop solar business in Assam. Additionally, in the role future includes overseeing other consumer products to enhance energy management and efficiency in the household. The Sales Head will lead a team of sales professionals, develop strategic sales plans, and ensure the successful execution of installation of RTS.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Distribution:
1) Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for rooftop solar business.
2) Identify and pursue new business opportunities in NE India.
3) Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
4) Lead and enable the Field Sales Team of Sales & Technicians
5) Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective B2B RTS clients.
6) Collaborate with the supporting teams of Marketing, Finance, Innovation, Supply Chain & Procurement to ensure seamless project execution
7) Manage relationships with external vendors, State Electricity Boards, DisComs and service providers. Represent the company in all external forums in North East India
Team Leadership:
1) Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets.
2) Recruit, train, and develop sales team members.
3) Set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.
4) Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Qualifications:
1) Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
2) Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
3) Strong understanding of the solar energy industry and rooftop solutions.
4) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5) Ability to travel as needed across NE India, Kolkata/Delhi
6) Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
7) Past Experience in Assam & NE India will be given preference
