Role Summary :

The Financial Reporting Manager - Reporting and Taxation plays a pivotal role in overseeing the General Ledger, Accounting & Reconciliations, Financial Reporting, Direct & Indirect Taxation within the organization. The position requires strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and compliance with taxation laws and regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

- Preparation/Review of the Annual/Quarterly Financial Statements including cashflow statement in line with applicable Accounting Standards, Companies Act and Disclosure per SEBI Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirement and drive all Audits.

- Possess strong knowledge of Ind-AS accounting standards.

- Ensure accurate and timely month end closing and provide insights and analysis on financial results to senior management.

Taxation:

- Understanding of regulatory requirements like GST, Profession Tax, Income Tax, Labour laws, etc.

- Ensuring monthly, quarterly and annual direct and indirect tax filings are done within statute timelines.

- Responsible for preparation/Review of tax financials for tax audit and state wise financials for GST audit.

Team Management:

- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and mentoring.

- Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance reviews.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements in receivables management, reporting, and taxation.

- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business unit heads and finance colleagues, to support business objectives.

- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as necessary.

Experience and Education:

- Proven experience in financial reporting, and taxation, preferably in a managerial role.

- Education: Chartered Accountancy (ICAI)

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation laws.

- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP/other) and proficiency in MS Excel.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience post-qualification.

- Experience Level: 8-10 years post-qualification experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial capacity.
