Job Description:

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Architect with a strong background in user experience design and frontend development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience, and bridging the gap between design and development. You will play a key role in translating business needs into user-centric designs and ensuring their successful implementation in collaboration with the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. UX Design:
• Lead the creation of user-centric designs through research, wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups.
• Define and maintain design patterns, ensuring consistency across applications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to refine designs.
• Advocate for accessibility and responsive design principles.
2. UI Development:
• Collaborate with development teams to translate UX designs into functional UI components.
• Develop prototypes and interactive designs using tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or code-based solutions.
• Work with frontend technologies to ensure smooth design-to-development workflows.
3. Technical Expertise:
• Provide technical direction on the use of major JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
• Offer guidance on HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind).
• Optimize front-end performance, including responsiveness, load times, and DOM management.
4. Collaboration:
• Work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and developers to ensure designs align with business goals.
• Provide mentorship to designers and developers on best practices in UI/UX and frontend development.
• Contribute to RFP responses with interactive prototypes and design recommendations.
5. Standards and Monitoring:
• Define and enforce design and development standards, ensuring compliance with accessibility (WCAG) and usability guidelines.
• Implement tools for monitoring user engagement and interface performance.

Required Skills:

• Design:
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, user psychology, and information architecture.
• Experience in creating design systems and reusable patterns.
• Frontend Development:
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Expertise in frontend frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of build tools like Webpack, Vite, or Parcel.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and API integration.
• Performance and Accessibility:
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, image compression).
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA roles).
• Collaboration Tools:
• Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Trello, etc.).

Additional skills:

• Experience in designing and developing mobile-first and progressive web applications (PWAs).
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX case studies and frontend development projects.
• Knowledge of analytics and monitoring tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, Lighthouse).
• Experience in leading RFP responses and POCs.
