Azure Cloud Architect

About the Role:

We are looking for an Azure Cloud Architect with minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in designing and delivering Microsoft infrastructure solutions with a firm understanding of network protocols, services and network infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Azure technologies including Azure Arc, Azure platform engineering and a substantial understanding of DevOps practices.
• At least 7 years of Microsoft engineering experience in a business-to-business environment specifically with large or strategic customer segments.
• In-depth technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies combined with the proven ability to deliver complex projects using methodologies such as MOF, Agile, ITIL and TOGA for similar frameworks.
• Must have certifications such as Az-900 (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals), Az-104 (Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate) and Az-305 (Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect).
• Expertise in leading a group of architects while providing them direction and helping with the implementation of an Azure cloud architecture solution besides overseeing issues such as migration.
• Executing hands-on implementation of proposed solutions for providing technical guidance to teams during the solutions development and deployment phases.
• Experience in driving, planning, developing blueprints and deliverables that help customers in advancing their Azure Cloud capabilities, involving both, new solutions as well as migration of the existing solutions.
• Collaborate and guide other team members to design and develop end-to-end processes aligning with the defined architecture.
• Regularly improve processes ensuring that high-quality information is delivered while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the AZURE architecture.
• Good solutioning architecture, light development skills with the ability to deliver deep technical content while bridging technical knowledge with mature and business discussions.
• Understanding of challenges and considerations to be provided for migrating applications from on-premises to Azure.
• Familiarity with cloud migration tools such as AppZero and ASR is desirable.
