Job Description
- Looking for a Vulnerability Assessment Specialist with over 3 years of experience to proactively identify and assess potential vulnerabilities across an organizations system, network and application.
- Requirements. Experience in vulnerability assessment or information security.
- Strong understanding of network security protocols, operating systems and web applications.
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or OpenVAS.
- In-depth knowledge of security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS and HIPAA.
- Behave vulnerability assessments on systems, networks, and applications.
- Identify and prioritize potential vulnerabilities based on severity and potential impact.
- Cooperate with IT team to develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
- Develop guidance to IT staff on security best practices and mitigation techniques.
- Staying up to date on the latest security threats and trends and advise the IT team on potential risks.
- Collaborate with the incident response team to develop incident response plans and provide support during incidents.
- Constantly evaluate and improve the vulnerability assessment program.
- Preferred security certifications include CISSP, CISM and CEH.
