DB Tester

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced ETL DB tester with strong expertise in T-SQL and Data Warehousing concepts with exposure testing data in Azure cloud SQL database. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of ETL processes and working closely with development including business teams to validate data and processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Database testing, Data Warehousing.
• Expertise in writing SQL queries and exposure working on Azure Cloud, Data warehousing concepts.
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL for querying and validating data.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools SSIS and Azure Data factory is a plus.
• Exposure testing data in Azure cloud SQL database.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, data modeling, data integration and Azure cloud blob storage.
• Experience with data profiling, data quality, and data transformation testing.
• Understanding of version control, defect tracking, and test management tools for example TFS and DevOps.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms -Azure.
• Familiarity in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
