ETL Lead

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and automation scripts for data integration, migration, and transformation to effectively test the ETL processes.
• Perform comprehensive data validation and verification to ensure data integrity across all ETL processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements, provide feedback, and develop test cases covering functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Independently drive discussions with business teams to understand data requirements and ensure test cases align with business needs.
• Create and maintain detailed test reports and defect documentation.
• Ensure that the quality of the data is consistent, accurate, and meets business expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• 5-7 years of experience in database testing and data warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL for querying and validating data.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as SSIS and ADF (Azure Data Factory) is a plus.
• Experience testing data in Azure SQL databases.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, data integration, and Azure cloud blob storage.
• Experience with data profiling, data quality, and data transformation testing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with business users to define and validate requirements.
• Knowledge of version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (e. g. , TFS, DevOps).

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, particularly Azure.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
