HTC Global Services - Informatica Developer - Data Quality Implementation & Development (5-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Data Quality Analysis & Implementation :

- Analyze data sources and quality issues, and develop strategies to address data anomalies.

- Design and implement data quality rules, transformations, and mappings using Informatica IDQ.

- Build and deploy data profiling workflows to monitor data quality.

Development & Maintenance :

- Create reusable data quality assets like rules, scorecards, and transformations.

- Optimize IDQ mappings and workflows for performance and scalability.

- Maintain and enhance data quality environments (development, QA, production).

Collaboration with Stakeholders :

- Work with business analysts, data stewards, and IT teams to define data quality requirements.

- Communicate findings and recommendations through reports, dashboards, and scorecards.

Data Governance Support :

- Assist in defining data governance strategies, policies, and procedures.

- Support metadata management and integration with other Informatica tools (e.g., MDM, EDC, AXON).

Troubleshooting & Support :

- Diagnose and resolve issues in data quality processes.

- Provide post-implementation support and address user queries.

Documentation :

- Document data quality processes, rules, mappings, and technical workflows.

- Maintain records of data quality improvements and project progress.

- 5-10 years of experience in Informatica Data Quality implementation and development.

- Hands-on experience with Informatica IDQ versions (10.x and above).

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in IDQ tools, including Developer, Analyst, and Workflow Manager.

- Strong understanding of data profiling, parsing, standardization, and matching techniques.

- Knowledge of data quality frameworks and best practices.

- Familiarity with databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.) and ETL concepts.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.

Certifications (Preferred) : Informatica Data Quality or Informatica Developer certifications.
