About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Engineering to lead our Data Engineering team.

You will be responsible for building and scaling our data infrastructure to support our rapidly growing business.

The ideal candidate is a passionate leader with a deep understanding of data engineering principles and a proven track record of building high-performance data pipelines.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of talented data engineers.

- Architect, design, and implement scalable data infrastructure to support business needs.

- Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and storage of large datasets.

- Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, analytics, engineering) to define data requirements and deliver solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data engineering.

- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in data engineering practices.

Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

- Extensive experience with BigQuery and other data processing technologies.

- Hands-on experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP).

- Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (e., Python).

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e., GCP, AWS, Azure).

- Experience with data governance and compliance.

- Familiarity with data visualization tools.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
