Data Engineer - ETL (10-15 yrs)

Data Engineer (Snowflake).

Required :

Insta Talent Reruit LLP, a leading company in the None industry, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and running the data pipelines and services that are required to support business functions, reports, and dashboards.

We heavily rely on BigQuery/Snowflake, Airflow, Stitch/Fivetran, dbt, and Tableau/Looker for our business intelligence and embrace AWS with some GCP.

As a Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to :

- Develop end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines in collaboration with Data Analysts.

- Design, develop, and implement scalable, automated processes for data extraction, processing, and analysis in a Data Mesh architecture.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team.

- Be the go-to expert for data technologies and solutions.

- Provide troubleshooting and diagnosis for architecture and design challenges.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

- Identify ways to improve data pipelines in terms of content and delivery.

- Translate business requirements into technical requirements.

- Own the delivery of data models and reports.

- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify data quality issues and implement tests to prevent them.

- Optimize data feeds and ensure availability at required times.

- Discover, transform, test, deploy, and document data sources.

- Apply and champion data warehouse governance, including data quality, testing, coding best practices, and peer review.

- Build Looker Dashboards for specific use cases.

To be a great fit for this role, you should have :

- 10+ years of extensive development experience using Snowflake or a similar data warehouse technology.

- Experience with dbt and other modern data stack technologies such as Apache Airflow, Fivetran, and AWS.

- Proficiency in agile processes, particularly SCRUM.

- Strong skills in writing advanced SQL statements and performance tuning.

- Experience in data ingestion techniques using custom or SAAS tools like Fivetran.

- Expertise in data modeling and optimization of existing/new data models.

- Understanding of data mining, data warehouse solutions, ETL, and working with large-scale, complex datasets in a business environment.
