We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Consultant Specialist

In this role, responsibilities will include:

• Linux Systems Administrator for a project delivery and support team, maintaining a server estate of over 2, 000 servers.
• Responsible for build, configuration, release and maintenance activities across multiple environments and services or varying criticality.
• Build, develop and rollout automation to support deployment of repeatable actions at scale working within a security compliant framework.
• Implementing security measures and best practices by adhering to operational standards from deployment, administration, monitoring and security, to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our systems.
• Provide guidance, mentorship and technical support to team members, fostering their professional development.
• Monitoring system performance, investigation into hardware and system software problems and undertaking corrective actions.
• Supporting Application teams with deployments, analysis, planning and documentation.
• Assist the Team Leader in managing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the team.
• Additional responsibilities to include the L3 support and maintenance of Linux environments, patching and critical vulnerability resolution, SAN migrations and supporting DBA and Middleware teams with Linux requirements.
