About the Role
We are looking for a General Manager Human Resources to build, lead, and mentor the human resources function at KNY Projects. This role involves developing and implementing talent strategies, HR policies, compliance frameworks, and workforce management systems to support our growing portfolio of large-scale architectural design consultancy, engineering construction, and EPC projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a strong organizational culture, driving performance management, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic human resources policies for recruitment, training, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Build and lead a high-performing human resources team to support business expansion.
- Oversee workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, statutory regulations, and employment policies.
- Manage compensation structures, payroll systems, and employee benefits administration.
- Implement and manage HR technology solutions (Zoho People, SAP HR, or other HRMS tools).
- Drive employee engagement, organizational culture, and diversity & inclusion initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior management and department heads to align human resources strategies with business objectives.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Human Resources (MBA in HR or equivalent is mandatory).
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in human resources leadership roles, preferably in EPC, construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
- Proven expertise in talent acquisition, HR policy formulation, workforce planning, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws, contract employment, payroll management, and HR technology implementation.
- Experience in setting up performance management frameworks and leadership development programs.
- Hands-on experience in HR digital transformation, ERP-based HR systems, and automation.
