Position: HR Manager
Department: Human Resources
Location: Sohna Road, Gurugram
Reports To: Director

Job Summary:

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource management within the organization, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and policy implementation. This role ensures that HR initiatives align with business objectives and foster a positive work culture. This job description outlines the key responsibilities and performance expectations for the HR Manager. The role demands a strategic thinker who can align HR practices with business objectives while fostering a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage end-to-end hiring processes, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify hiring needs and workforce planning.
  • Establish and manage partnerships with colleges and universities for campus placement programs.
  • Plan and execute campus recruitment drives, internships, and trainee programs.
  • Build relationships with academic institutions to create a sustainable talent pipeline.

2. Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Address employee grievances and foster a positive workplace environment.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and productivity.
  • Act as a mediator in resolving workplace conflicts.

3. Performance Management

  • Develop and oversee performance appraisal processes and feedback mechanisms.
  • Work with managers to set employee goals and track performance metrics.
  • Identify training and development needs based on performance evaluations.

4. Training and Development

  • Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Organize leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Partner with external training providers for specialized programs.

5. Compensation and Benefits

  • Administer payroll, benefits, and incentive programs.
  • Ensure market-competitive salary structures in alignment with industry standards.
  • Oversee statutory compliance related to employee compensation and benefits.

6. HR Policies and Compliance

  • Develop and update HR policies in accordance with labor laws and company requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and maintain accurate HR documentation.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and practices.

7. Workplace Culture and Diversity Initiatives

  • Promote a culture of inclusion, diversity, and employee well-being.
  • Implement workplace ethics and anti-harassment policies.
  • Lead corporate social responsibility (CSR) and wellness initiatives.

8. HR Technology and Analytics

  • Leverage HR technology (HRM Software) for data-driven decision-making.
  • Generate reports and insights on HR metrics (attrition rate, engagement scores, etc.).
  • Improve HR operational efficiency through automation and digitalization.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in HR management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and data analytics.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
