What does this role hold for you ??

Legal Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various legal issues and
matters.
Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations that impact the
company s business and operations.
Monitor and interpret relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the
organization s practices comply with legal requirements.
Litigation handling, drafting legal notices, replies. Coordination with
external lawyers for cases.

Drafting and Review:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal
documents.
Prepare and review the legal opinions, reports, and correspondence as
required.
Collaborate closely with the Procurement team to provide legal guidance
on supplier agreements, terms of service, and vendor relationships,
ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Compliance and Governance:
Ensure the company s compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
as applicable from time to time.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal policies and
procedures.
Liaise with external legal counsel as necessary.

Undertake the work related to Internal Audit, SoX Audit and Statutory
Audit as required from time to time.
Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits.
Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the
board of directors, highlighting compliance issues and proposed solutions.
Secretarial work handling and compliances thereof.

Understanding of the business
Provide guidance on various stakeholders in understanding the
compliance requirement for the business.
Address and resolve the issues legally by dealing with various
stakeholders.
Assist in the development and implementation of various policies and
procedures.

Develop and deliver training programs for employees on legal and
compliance matters, fostering a culture of compliance within the
organization.

Apply if you have
A Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA & LLB) degree from a recognized
institution
A minimum 6 to 9 years of legal experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate
complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a
proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional certifications or memberships in legal associations related to fintech and
compliance (desirable).
