Safety Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Strategic Safety Leadership: Develop and oversee the execution of safety programs

and initiatives across all warehouses, ensuring they align with corporate safety

objectives.

• Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure full compliance with all national and

international safety regulations (such as OSHA & ISO), and act as the primary point of

contact for regulatory bodies.

• Risk Management & Prevention: Conduct high-level risk assessments, hazard

analysis, and safety audits, implementing preventive measures to reduce the risk of

accidents and incidents.

• Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise people across warehouses, ensuring

continuous development of the safety team across the country.

• Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis: Lead complex investigations into

safety incidents, utilizing root cause analysis techniques, and driving the implementation

of corrective actions.

• Emergency Response & Crisis Management: Develop and enforce robust emergency

response plans across all warehouse locations, ensuring all staff are trained and

prepared for emergency scenarios.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for safety improvements through

process optimization, new technologies, and the implementation of Lean methodologies

such as 5S and Kaizen.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior management, operations teams,

HR, and external stakeholders to integrate safety as a key component of operational

success.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Safety Management, Occupational Health

& Safety, or a related field.

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in safety management within warehousing, logistics

& manufacturing sectors.

• Certifications: Added advantage
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of safety management systems, risk assessment

techniques, fire safety regulations, and emergency preparedness.

• Skills: Communication, Execution & Expertise in conducting high-level audits, incident

investigations, and risk assessments.
