Job Description

- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze the financial performance of the product portfolio and identify areas for optimization.
- Build, maintain, and enrich product portfolio data models to improve analytics.
- Convert complex data models and information into simple and actionable views.
- Communicate product portfolio insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
- Synthesize market research and competitor analysis to identify new product opportunities and assess the viability of existing products.
- Identify trends and opportunities for product improvement and development opportunities.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in product portfolio management.
- Support product portfolio managers with strategically deciding which products to invest in, develop, harvest, or exit.
- YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor s degree: Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or other IT or business-related field
- 5+ years of B2B analytics experience in Portfolio Management, Pricing, and Sales, including solutions architecture.
- Strong knowledge and/or experience with visualization tools (Power BI and Tableau) reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)

- In-depth understanding of P&L and profitability analysis
- Portfolio Management or Product Marketing experience using business data modeling, data mining, and/or segmentation techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive problem-solving
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical analysis software
- Demonstrated experience in serving as a technical lead on moderately complex projects.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, proficiency with computer software applications, and the ability to produce and consume written documentation.
- Demonstrated initiative to stay current on industry practice outside of study and training.
- Ability to develop and communicate technical vision for projects and initiatives that can be understood by customers and management.
