Job Description
- We are looking for a Senior Manager, IT Data & Analytics to join our IT team in Bangalore, reporting to the senior director of IT
- In this role, you will lead a team of senior engineers with broad experience in modern data and technology infrastructure and data science
- Your primary focus will be developing and empowering engineers on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data solutions that support our business objectives using cloud platforms
- You will also collaborate with the data product manager, business intelligence team manager, and cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility, leading data-driven decision making across the organization
You are the ideal candidate if you are a results-driven troubleshooter and collaborator who operates independently.
What you ll do:
- Lead and manage a team of senior engineers, providing mentorship and guidance
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data architecture and technology infrastructure
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the data platform
- Collaborate with the product manager and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and empower the team to translate them into technical solutions
- Help develop and implement data governance policies and best practices
- Monitor and optimize data systems for performance and scalability
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data management and analytics
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Data team
What you ll bring:
- Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in data management, with a focus on data and technology platforms
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring technical teams
- Solid knowledge in data modeling, database design, and ETL processes
- Proficiency in SQL, Columnar databases, and data warehousing solutions
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools, including Tableau and Power BI
- Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices
- Oustanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

- Enable the team to deliver a modern data platform that leverages AI capabilities for self- service business intelligence needs
- Empower the team to collaborate effectively across different locations
- Foster team development and innovation
After about a year, you will
- Elevate the operational excellence of the team
- Optimize data solutions for scale
- Implement data governance across multiple functions
