Lead Software Developer - Java/J2EE (6-11 yrs)

Job Description :

- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.

- Fulfilling all the commitments by timely delivering the deliverables.

- Must work constantly on increasing the productivity of the team and reducing the waste on the other end.

- Ensure fair tasks assignments where people are assigned with the task as per their skills and personal preferences.

- Constantly motivate and encourage team to give their best, especially during the time when they are pressurized with high targets.

- Write well designed, testable, efficient code.

- Ensure designs are following specifications.

- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Skills :

- Software development life cycle.

- Technologies - Java, J2EE, REST, SOAP, Oracle, Spring, Hibernate.

- Strong in java basics inclusive of OOPS, Thread management and memory optimization.

- Ability to take on ownership of large projects in very dynamic and adaptive environment.

Desired Experience & Expertise :

- B. Tech, MCA, M. Tech degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related subject

- Proven hands-on Software Development experience with more than 5 Years

- Proven working experience in Java development

- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms

- Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

- Hands on experience in Web Services (SOAP,REST)

- Hands on experience in development IDE (Eclipse, Intelij Idea)

- Hands on experience on using application server (Apache Tomcat 7, Weblogic 12c,Jboss)

- Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)

- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)

- Experience in the Spring Framework, Maven

- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (Spring MVC,JSF, JSP, Servlet, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery)

- Complete understanding of SDLC

- Experience with test-driven development

- Good to have BPM Concept , Activiti, Vaadin, Jasper Report

- 06 Years and above with team lead experience
