POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We seek a talented and experienced Cloud Administrator to manage and optimize our cloud environments, primarily focusing on Microsoft Azure. The successful candidate will deploy, maintain, and enhance our cloud-based infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. While Azure expertise is critical, experience with AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud technologies, including containerized environments with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS (up to five):

1. Azure Cloud Administration - Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based cloud solutions to support business objectives. Administer Azure virtual machines, networking, storage, identity, and security services.

2. Cloud Monitoring and Optimization - Implement monitoring tools to track system performance, reliability, and usage. Analyze and optimize resource allocation to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

3. Kubernetes and Container Management - Deploy and manage containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and container workflows.

4. Cross-Cloud Support - Aid with AWS and OCI environments as required. Perform routine administrative tasks with multi cloud platforms to ensure operational consistency.

5. Cloud Security and Governance - Enforce security best practices and compliance policies for all cloud resources. Regularly review and update cloud governance frameworks to align with evolving business needs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in Azure Cloud Administration or a related role.
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms such as AKS is highly desirable.
• Experience with AWS and OCI is a plus, particularly in basic administrative tasks.
