Research And Development Officer

Position: Research & Development Executive/Officer
Industry: FMCG / Food Industry / Nutraceuticals
Location: Worli - Mumbai
Experience Required: 3 -8 years

Key Responsibilities

• Research and develop innovative nutraceutical products, including functional foods, dietary supplements, and health beverages.
• Formulate products in line with market trends, customer demands, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop prototypes and conduct sensory evaluations for product optimization.
• Source, study, and evaluate new ingredients and raw materials for product formulation.
• Conduct trials to validate ingredient efficacy and stability.
• Ensure all products meet FSSAI, FDA, and other regulatory standards for nutraceuticals.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for product registration and approvals.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the products meet quality and safety standards.
• Perform stability studies to determine shelf life and product integrity.
• Work with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes for newly developed products.
• Address formulation or production challenges to improve efficiency.
• Stay updated on global trends in nutraceuticals, functional foods, and health supplements.
• Recommend strategies to align product development with market demands.

Skills & Qualifications

• A degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of food science, nutrition, and ingredient functionality.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for nutraceuticals and dietary supplements.
• Analytical skills for product testing and evaluation.
• Male candidates are preferred.
