QS Executive Job requirements -

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
• Prepare cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Tendering and Contracts:
• Review and evaluate tender documents, contracts, and proposals.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
3. Cost Control and Management:
• Monitor project costs and track variations.
• Provide regular financial progress reports and forecasts.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in budgets and costs.
4. Measurement and Valuation:
• Conduct detailed measurements and valuations of works executed.
• Prepare and submit bills of quantities (BOQ) and payment applications.
5. Risk Management:
• Identify potential financial risks and recommend solutions to mitigate them.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align costs with project goals.
• Liaise with clients to address concerns and provide updates on project finances.
7. Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of all project-related documentation, including contracts, change orders, and financial statements.
• Prepare final accounts upon project completion.

• Proficiency in using quantity surveying and project management software.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4–6 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role.
