Our Indian Operations Centre (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision, and commissioning. The team caters to the four business units Transformers, Grid Integration, Grid Automation, High Voltage and has successfully executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Mission Statement:

Analyze customer specification to ensure Hitachi - Power Grids solution to meets the Customer Requirements. Coordinate with Project Execution Team, Supply Chain, Secondary and Primary design functions, Stakeholders etc. to provide required support for successful execution of Projects and Tender.

Your responsibilities:

• Analyze customer specification to ensure Hitachi - Power Grids solution to meets the requirements.

• Preparing detailed drawings for Substations Switchyards civil structures for: Control buildings, GIS Buildings, Switchgear building, HV / EHV Switchyard equipment foundations which include Power transformers, Reactors, switching equipment, Gantry and Towers along with drainage and cable trenches, GIS Building foundations, Office/Storage buildings foundation.

• Preparing Cable routing and trench, Foundation layouts, Roads, Drainage Layout Detail Drawings and Building Service Drawings.

• Preparing 3D Models, General Arrangement Fabrication Drawings for Equipment support Structures Steel Roof Truss using 3D CAD tool Co-ordination with other discipline such as mechanical electrical for preparing layouts.

• Preparation Substation Civil Layouts, MEP Layouts for tender purpose.

• Hands on experience in BoQ for civil foundation, superstructure, PEB structures associated with substations /switchyards etc. Knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing System is an added advantage.

Your background:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineer with work experience of 5+ years in civil and structural engineering.

• Have applied relevant International Standards for engineering design deliverables extensively.in projects executed.

• Proficiency in CAD design tools (AutoCAD, AutoCAD, REVIT, Tekla, 3D competence)

• Microsoft office (Word and Excel).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
