Job Description
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in plumbing design, with expertise in plumbing layouts, piping systems, drainage systems, water supply systems, and plumbing codes.
- Proficiency in plumbing design software and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of local and national plumbing codes and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plumbing System Design: Develop plumbing designs for various projects, including layouts, piping systems, drainage systems, water supply systems, and plumbing fixtures selection.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed and accurate design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Tender Preparation: Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities and technical specifications related to plumbing systems.
- Coordination: Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to ensure effective integration of plumbing systems into overall project plans.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks and reviews of plumbing designs and documentation to maintain high standards of work.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits as necessary to assess existing conditions, monitor construction progress, and ensure compliance with design specifications related to plumbing systems.
- Project Management: Manage plumbing design projects from conception to completion, including budget management and timeline adherence.
- Coordination Meetings: Participate in coordination meetings with project teams to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems.
Note: Only candidates with 3-5 years of relevant experience in plumbing design will be considered.
