As a BIM MEP Modeller at OneMEP Services Private Limited, you will be at the forefront of transforming MEP design and coordination through the use of BIM technology. You will work closely with our engineering and design teams to create detailed and accurate BIM models that facilitate collaboration, coordination, and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
BIM Modeling: Create and maintain accurate BIM models of MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) for residential, commercial, hotel, educational, and hospital projects using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD MEP).
Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into the overall building design.
Clash Detection: Conduct clash detection analysis to identify and resolve clashes and conflicts within the BIM model, ensuring efficient and error-free designs.
Documentation: Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and reports from BIM models, including schematic diagrams, equipment schedules, and quantity take-offs.
Quality Assurance: Review and validate the accuracy and completeness of BIM models to comply with project requirements, codes, and standards.
Sustainability: Contribute to sustainable design practices by optimizing MEP systems for energy efficiency and environmental performance.
Project Support: Assist in design coordination meetings, project reviews, and site visits to support project teams and resolve design-related issues.
Technical Advancement: Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience in BIM modeling for MEP systems, with a focus on residential, commercial, hotel, educational, and hospital projects.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit and Navisworks.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems and relevant industry codes and standards.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
