Senior Engineer Cyber Security IT - OT

Our Indian Operations Centre (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision, and commissioning. Over the last decade, INOPC has evolved to become the largest engineering hub serving more than 40 countries across different energy sectors. The team caters to the four business units Transformers, Grid Integration, Grid Automation, High Voltage and has successfully executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries. HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) and HVDC Light are highly efficient alternatives for transmitting bulk power and for special purpose applications. The classic HVDC technology is used to transmit electric power over long distances by overhead transmission lines or submarine cables. It is also used to interconnect separate power systems, where traditional alternating current (AC) connections cannot be used. HVDC Light is a power transmission technology developed by Hitachi Energy that offers additional benefits compared to HVDC Classic.

Mission Statement:

OT Cyber Security Desing and Validate. Penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, security risk management, security risk identification and mitigation, SQL injection, cryptography Encryption Standards and Products.

Your responsibilities:

• You and the team will concentrate on enhancing HVDC cybersecurity over time.

• Advancement of the cybersecurity strategy's execution, posture, and services.

• You will have some involvement with OT cybersecurity. Create and verify the resolution, patch management for the entire system.

• You will assist numerous projects concurrently, and with the cybersecurity team's assistance.

• You will assist the projects in streamlining cybersecurity solutions.

• Assist in setting up, executing, and evaluating cybersecurity apparatus.

• Participate in the HVDC Cybersecurity team's development.

• You are a proactive individual who finds fulfillment in working in a dynamic setting and collaborating with coworkers, classmates, and other people.

Your background :

• Bachelor's in Computer science, IT- or OT-security or equivalent

• You have 9 years of working experience from the IT-, OT or information security field, preferably from the industry sector.

• You must have experience in IEC 62443-3 standards.

• Must have experience in OSS (Operational Support System), Firewall, Layer 2, Layer 3 Switches, Routers configuration.

• Knowledge & Experience MS Visio, Office: Word, Excel.

• Proficiency and fluency in English is required since you will be part of an international setting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
