Truecaller - Android Developer (3-5 yrs)

Job Description

As an Android Engineer in the Growth Hacking team, you will be developing features that help our Android app grow in our mature markets as well as new markets. You'll be responsible for architecture, code quality, and delivery cadence for the features we build in the team.

What you bring in:

- 3 to 5 years of Android application development experience.

- An extensive, hands-on experience with modern Android application development tools and libraries incl. application lifecycle, asynchronous server communication, and UI components.

- Sound knowledge of Kotlin, Coroutines and Dependency injection

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- A mind-set to get things done while maintaining high standards by shipping high quality code.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs

The impact you will create:

- Take ownership of the features that you build and ensure a high level of user experience

- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions

- Participate in and contribute to the teams Agile practices

- Utilize modern Android development tools (Jetpack, Kotlin, etc.) to build clean, scalable, and maintainable code which impacts 400 million users

- Ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase with every commit that you do It would be great if you also have:

- Experience with AB testing product features

- CRM tools experience such as Clevertap

- Experience of Jetpack Compose
