Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned SAP PM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance module and a proven track record of successful SAP implementations. As a SAP PM Consultant, you will work closely with clients to understand their business processes, configure SAP PM solutions, and provide expertise in the area of Plant Maintenance.
Roles and Responsibilities - Build Functional Designs for SAP Plant Maintenance processes based on business requirements and document functional designs, test cases and results.
- Prepare and facilitate assessment/blueprint workshops to analyze clients business needs. The consultant must articulate business reasons for functionalities and translate them into SAP best practices.
- Design, customize, configure and testing of PM
- Write detailed functional mappings to SAP applications, perform functional gap analysis, and create comprehensive blueprint designs and process documentation.
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
- Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
- Prepare summary-level presentations and lead future state system design and process workshops to secure client acceptance.
- Oversee the configuration of SAP applications, create and execute unit test scripts, and support integration/user acceptance test scenario creation.
- Facilitate and provide direct support for user testing, develop cutover plans and scripts, and assist in production migration and go-live stabilization. Provide regular status updates to Project Managers and clients.
- Assume primary responsibility for successful implementation within strict deadlines.
- Offer clients full life-cycle project implementation consulting expertise, including assessments, blueprinting, system build, testing, and go-live stabilization.
- Train client staff on design, application functions, and configuration.
- Creation of End user and Core user training material using different tools and conducting workshops for the same.
- Should have at least 3-6 years of proven experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects and in designing and configuring PM modules.
- Should have worked on minimum 2 end to end hands-on implementation projects with independent responsibilities and client facing roles.
- Should have experience in PM Business process, General Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance (Time based and Condition Based).
- Should have experience PM Master data Equipment Master, Functional location Master, Bill of Material, Work center, Task list, Characteristics, Class, Permits, Warranties, Catalog, Maintenance plan, Maintenance item, Measuring Pointer and Counter.
- Should have a thorough knowledge of PM Materials, Linear Asset Management, Assembly, Serial Number, BOM, Maintenance Task List, Measuring points, Counters, PM Work Centers, and Maintenance Plans.
- Should have experience of configuration of Breakdown Process, Corrective Maintenance Process, Performance Based Preventive Maintenance Process, Time Based Preventive Maintenance Process, Refurbishment Process, External Service Management Process, Calibration Process, etc.
- Should have knowledge of integration of SAP PM Module with other modules like MM, PP, QM and SD.
- Should have been involved in collecting QM Master data MIC, Sampling Procedure for Calibration Process.
- Should have experience in configuration and customizing as per the best practice of SAP Plant Maintenance. Configuration entire logistic master data
- Should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field .
- SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Plant Maintenance
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.

- Should have excellent relationship and customer handling skills
- Strategic thinker with strong influencing skills and the ability to build consensus.
