Cloud Engineer - Azure Platform (5-8 yrs)

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the administration, optimization, and security of our cloud infrastructure across Azure, VMware, and NetApp platforms. You will also play a pivotal role in automation, system integration, and supporting a scalable, secure cloud environment. We are seeking immediate joiners who can quickly integrate into our team and make an impact.

Responsibilities :

• Cloud Infrastructure Management : Administer and optimize cloud environments on Azure and other cloud platforms, ensuring seamless and reliable service delivery.
• Virtualization and VMware : Manage and troubleshoot VMware environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Storage Management with NetApp : Design, implement, and manage NetApp storage solutions, including backups, provisioning, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Utilize Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for automating infrastructure deployments.
• Cloud Security and Compliance : Implement and enforce security best practices on Azure environments, including access management, identity, encryption, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc. ).
• Performance Optimization : Monitor system performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and improve resource utilization within Azure and VMware environments.
• Backup and Recovery : Ensure data integrity and availability through proper backup management and disaster recovery strategies leveraging NetApp and Azure Backup.
• Collaboration and Support : Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure infrastructure meets operational requirements and provide timely resolution of incidents and escalations.
• Documentation and Reporting : Create detailed documentation on cloud infrastructure setup, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans.

• Experience : 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Cloud Expertise : Strong experience in Azure cloud platform services, architecture, and resource management.
• Virtualization : Extensive experience working with VMware environments, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
• Storage Solutions : Strong knowledge of NetApp storage systems, including configuration, management, and best practices for data protection and scalability.
• Automation : Experience in automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Azure DevOps.
• Scripting and Programming : Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automating infrastructure tasks.
• Security and Networking : Understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and network configuration in Azure environments.
• Performance Monitoring : Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, VMware vRealize Operations, and NetApp OnCommand for proactive issue resolution and performance optimization.
• Problem-Solving : Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure issues in real time.
• Communication Skills : Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certification(s) in Azure (e. g., Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert), VMware (e. g., VMware Certified Professional), or NetApp (e. g., NetApp Certified Data Administrator).
• Experience in hybrid cloud setups and multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
