About the Job :
The Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Lead will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) within the Oracle HCM Suite, encompassing modules such as Global HR, Recruiting, Performance Management, Compensation, and Talent.
This role demands a deep understanding of the Oracle HCM Cloud platform and its technical intricacies.
As an individual contributor, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with a global support team, including functional leaders, business partners, and technical experts.
Key responsibilities include :
- Day-to-day Production Support : Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues within the Oracle HCM environment.
- Enhancements and Upgrades : Participate in the planning, development, and testing of system enhancements, including quarterly patch releases and major upgrades.
- Issue Resolution : Conduct root cause analysis of production issues, implement effective solutions, and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaboration : Work effectively with onshore and nearshore Oracle Cloud project and support teams across various domains, including rollout, upgrades, development, and support.
Essential Skills :
Technical Expertise :
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead in at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
- Minimum one production support project experience within the Oracle HCM Cloud environment.
- In-depth knowledge of core HCM modules (Core HR, Recruiting, Benefits, Performance Management, Payroll, Goals, Absence Management, Succession Planning, HR Helpdesk, Talent Review, Onboarding, Learning).
Project Management & Execution :
- Strong project management and execution skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Communication & Collaboration :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working effectively in an onshore/nearshore/offshore model.
Technical Proficiency :
- Expertise in Fast Formulas, HCM Data Loader, Payroll Batch Loader, HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader, Custom Role Development, and Cloud System Administration services.
- Proficiency in BI Publisher (RTF design, eText, Scheduling, Parameter Handling, Bursting, backup and migration of reports).
- Experience with other reporting tools such as HCM Extract, OTBI, and Analysis Dashboards.
- Expertise in Transformation Formula and automating inbound loads into HCM using HDL.
- Experience with Sysadmin activities, code deployment processes, and quality assurance.
- Experience with extending Cloud through the personalization layer.
- Understanding of SOAP and REST APIs is a significant advantage.

- Flexibility to work late nights on an as-needed basis to ensure overlap with client IT teams in different time zones.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the technical aspects of Oracle HCM Cloud projects, including implementations, upgrades, and support.
- Design, develop, and implement technical solutions for complex business requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within the Oracle HCM Cloud environment.
- Perform system administration tasks, including user provisioning, security configuration, and data integrity checks.
- Develop and maintain custom reports and integrations.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing and deployment.
- Stay abreast of the latest Oracle HCM Cloud technologies and best practices
