Azure Cloud Engineer - Cloud Security (5-10 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The role involves working closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud environments using Microsoft Azure services, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Manage and automate Azure Infrastructure including virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases.

- Implement cloud security practices in accordance with industry standards to protect data, applications, and infrastructure.

- Monitor and optimize cloud services to ensure cost efficiency and high performance.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate and streamline deployment and infrastructure processes using CI/CD pipelines.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Azure-related issues such as network, infrastructure, and application problems.

- Manage identity and access management (IAM) on Azure using Azure Active Directory.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices for cloud infrastructure.

- Conduct performance tuning and regularly update Azure services to improve system performance.

- Provide guidance and training to teams on best practices for cloud development and operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5-10 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

- Proficiency in Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Storage Accounts, and Azure App Services.

- Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.

- Strong knowledge of Azure networking (VNETs, load balancers, VPNs, DNS).

- Understanding of Azure Security tools like Azure Security Center, Azure Policy, and encryption methodologies.

- Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python) to automate tasks in Azure.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer).

- Experience with hybrid cloud environments.

- Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) on Azure.

- Knowledge of serverless computing on Azure.
