DevOps Architect - Azure Cloud (10-18 yrs)

Job Title : DevOps Architect

Location : Bangalore, India

Experience Required : 10 to 18 Years (Minimum 5 Years as an Architect)

Job Summary :

The DevOps Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices that support the development and deployment of applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes and Azure, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience in an architectural role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure.

- Lead the orchestration of containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient application delivery.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, implementing optimizations as necessary.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.

- Provide architectural guidance and best practices on DevOps methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Ensure security and compliance best practices are integrated into the DevOps lifecycle.

- Mentor and guide junior team members in DevOps practices and technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 10 to 18 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related fields, with a minimum of 5 years as an architect.

- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.

- Proficient in Azure cloud services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and related tools.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure Pipelines.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g, Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in Azure (e.g, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer).

- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
