We are seeking a Cluster Business Manager to lead and manage the Chennai cluster for our LAP (Loan Against Property) and Home Loan (HL) services.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams, driving sales, and achieving targets in the LAP/HL segment.
The position requires local candidates with a proven track record of handling the Chennai cluster.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to drive business performance in the LAP and Home Loan verticals.
- Motivate, guide, and mentor team members to achieve individual and cluster targets.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet business goals for the cluster.
- Ensure team performance aligns with the overall sales objectives, including achieving revenue, market penetration, and customer acquisition targets.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the loan process.
- Oversee the loan application process, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Cluster Revenue Generation:
- Ensure that revenue targets for LAP and Home Loans are achieved for the cluster, including targets for cross-selling and fee-based income.
Market Development:
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for growth within the cluster.
- Manage branch and field operations, focusing on expanding market presence and customer base.
Risk & Compliance:
- Ensure that the team adheres to all regulatory, compliance, and risk management standards.
- Monitor loan performance, including delinquency rates, and take proactive steps to minimize risks.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Track and report sales performance, market trends, and competition within the Chennai cluster.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on business progress and challenges.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or management in the financial services sector, with at least 3+ years of experience in managing teams in the LAP/HL space.
- Prior experience in managing the Chennai cluster is a must.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related fields.
- Post-graduate qualifications are a plus.
Key Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of LAP and Home Loan products and services.
- Proven ability to drive sales, manage revenue targets, and expand business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good understanding of local market trends and customer behavior in the Chennai region
