Hindustan Times - Manager - Event Operations (3-8 yrs)

Role Purpose:

The role of the Event Operations - Manager is to handle projects from proposal to delivery, making sure- events- are delivered in time and within budget, maintaining client relationships, securing venues and supplies at the- event.

Responsibilities:

- New Events & Pre Sales - Brainstorming & Implementing new event plans with Management & event team.

- Experience Management - Needs to be creative & Innovative to be able to think about creating memorable experiences on all across the VCC & TC events. This includes digital mediums as well as physical events. Should be able to implement event technology solutions to streamline registration, attendee tracking, and feedback collection processes.

- Event Conceptualisation - Should be able to create detailed brief which covers the basic of every event in terms of the number of people expected by the client and a suitable venue that compliments the objective of the client's requirement. Coordinate logistical details including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, transportation, and accommodations.

- Team Management - Managing event operations team of TC & VC and make them dependable to deliver extra ordinary experience to our customers through on ground events. Supervise onsite event staff and volunteers to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.

- Sponsors Management & New Businesses through New/Existing customers- Managing the sponsors with all promised deliveries & maintaining a healthy relations with on ground sponsor's team.

- Budgeting & Negotiations - Maintain all pre & post event costs, adhering to deliver all events/training with saving on given budgets. Negotiation with Hotel & vendors to close on best possible rates keeping quality in mind.

- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop event promotion strategies and materials.

- Analyze post-event feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future events
