Job Description
As the Food and Beverage Intern, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to F&B performance (e.g., sales, guest satisfaction, costs).
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting trends and insights.
Support in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for various hotel properties globally.
2. Market Research and Trend Analysis:
Conduct research on current F&B trends, competitive benchmarking, and consumer preferences.
Assist in identifying opportunities for menu innovation, sustainability practices, and guest experience enhancements.
Prepare summaries of market research findings to support strategic decision-making.
3. Support Brand Standards and Development:
Assist the corporate F&B team in ensuring that all properties are aligned with the brand s F&B standards and guidelines.
Participate in the development and revision of F&B menus, concepts, and service protocols.
Collaborate with the culinary and design teams on projects related to new restaurant openings, refurbishments, and rebranding initiatives.
4. Coordination and Project Management:
Assist in managing F&B-related projects across various departments, including finance, marketing, and operations.
Coordinate with hotel properties to collect information and ensure timely execution of initiatives.
Support the organization of corporate F&B events, such as tastings, product launches, and internal conferences.
5. Innovation and Sustainability Initiatives:
Contribute to sustainability efforts by researching eco-friendly practices in the F&B industry, such as waste reduction, local sourcing, and sustainable packaging.
Assist in developing initiatives that promote corporate responsibility within the F&B department.
6. Operational and Strategic Support:
- Work closely with the corporate team to understand and improve operational efficiencies within the F&B departments at various hotels.
- Assist in developing training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practice guides for hotel F&B teams.
- Support internal communication related to F&B updates, ensuring that key stakeholders are informed of new strategies, changes, and developments.
What are we looking for?
A Food and Beverage Intern serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviour s, skills, and values that follow:
Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
Interest in the luxury F&B sector, with knowledge of global hospitality trends.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Key Skills and Attributes:
A passion for the F&B industry and a desire to learn about its corporate management.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle complex data and reports.
