ETL Developer

1. Design and develop complex Informatica ETL + SQL processes that integrate data from
multiple sources including Oracle, flat files, etc.
2. Perform business analysis and develop data flow diagrams and mapping specifications
3. Interact with business users to gather data requirements
4. Give direction on parameters for construction of appropriate test cases for validation of
PowerCenter and ETL processes
5. Provide guidance on the operational considerations and administrative processes for
management of ETL processes
6. Interact with the technical architect for identification and design of monitoring processes
7. Provide guidance and work with the data architect in reviewing and validating the data
warehouse data model
8. Assist Informatica, Stonebranch, Oracle and Microstrategy developers in debugging
performance related challenges
9. Provide level 2 production support

Minimum Required Qualifications:
3. 4+ years of hands on experience in ETL and Informatica
2. 4+ years of collaboration experience with other stakeholders such as system architects and
business analysts.
3. 3+ years of production support experience in addressing system outage under extreme
pressure.

Required Skills

Informatica - PowerCenter ETL - PL/SQL - Oracle - Stonebranch - Shell scripts, PL/SQL, and Unix Env.

 

Desirable Skills:

1. Experience in building systems to support book publishing industry
2. Informatica CDC, IDQ
3. MS SQL Server
