Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of service operations. The incumbent will be responsible for managing service teams, ensuring client satisfaction, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving business growth through proactive service management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Client Engagement: Identify and generate new sales opportunities through site surveys, quotation preparation, and closure processes in line with company policies. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term engagement and repeat business.
• Manpower Planning & Execution: Plan and allocate manpower for field service teams and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) sites, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• Complaint Resolution & Preventive Measures: Ensure all service complaints are resolved within stipulated timelines while implementing preventive measures to mitigate penalties.
• Repair & Purchase Management: Oversee product repairs and coordinate with the reporting manager for procurement and inventory management.
• Billing & Penalty Avoidance: Manage billing cycles and ensure timely submission of invoices with all required documentation to prevent penalties and ensure prompt clearance.
• Team Management & Development: Lead, train, and mentor engineers, technicians, and team leaders. Provide remote support and guidance to field teams for effective issue resolution.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Conduct regular team meetings to review weekly reports, including RMA/stock status, service call progress, and critical issues. Maintain accurate and updated service records.
• Vendor & Third-Party Management: Oversee third-party contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with service agreements and company policies.
• Compliance & Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless execution of service processes while adhering to company policies and customer expectations. Maintain a proactive approach to operational challenges to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
