Hexaview Technologies - Senior Cloud Engineer - IAC Terraform (4-10 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are looking for a Sr. Cloud Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure, particularly on AWS. You will be responsible for designing & handling designing robust cloud architectures with a focus on high availability, security, and performance for large-scale infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform and AWS CDK, while ensuring efficient CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Cloud Expertise : Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructures on AWS for business-critical applications.

- Infrastructure as Code (IAC) : Strong expertise with IAC tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform and AWS CDK to automate the provisioning and management of large-scale infrastructure.

- Architecture & Design : Solid understanding of standard application and infrastructure architectures, including microservices, serverless, and containerized environments.

- Automation & Problem Solving : Passion for automating repetitive tasks, solving complex infrastructure challenges, and improving system performance.

- Cloud Optimization : Monitor usage and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and scaling needs.

- CI/CD Pipeline : Full experience in CI/CD tools such as Azure Pipeline, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar, ensuring smooth and automated application and infrastructure deployments.

- Programming & Scripting : Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, etc.) and one scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, etc.) to automate tasks and enhance infrastructure capabilities.

- Monitoring & Logging : Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, and Prisma Cloud for monitoring, alerting, security, and log management.

- Collaboration & Mentoring : Work closely with cross-functional teams, provide guidance to junior engineers, and support troubleshooting and incident resolution in production environments.
