Job description
Job Title: Senior Business Manager
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Senior Business Manager. As the head of a Business Unit in our technology services company, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong background in sales and client management.
Responsibilities:
a) Set and achieve business goals and targets to drive revenue growth.
b) Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
c) Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing team to develop marketing collaterals, create proposals, and engage in end-to-end prospecting activities, from the initial call to contract execution and onboarding.
d) Conduct business research and market analysis to identify growth opportunities for the Business Unit. e) Work closely with the founders to secure and close high-value deals.
f) Oversee the delivery standards by working closely with senior project managers.
g) Address and resolve any client escalations related to project delivery.
h) Collaborate with senior project managers to allocate and plan resources effectively.
i) Oversee the performance appraisal process within the Business Unit.
j) Perform regular profit and loss analysis of the Business Unit.
k) Collaborate with department heads, such as HR and Finance, on various activities like invoicing, hiring, and training.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in dealing with clients from the US.
- Willingness to travel to the US, UK, Canada, or Australia as required.
- B.Tech./MBA degree or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with sales and marketing teams.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in client management.
- Total work experience of 5+ years.
- Strong problem-solving attitude.
Desired (optional):
Possession of a valid US B1 visa would be an advantage.
MBA degree is preferred.
Exposure to the tech industry is mandatory.
Technical background is a plus but not essential.
