Job Description

Summary

A Technical Writer writes descriptive documents in different writing styles according to a target audience and product scope. They are responsible for generating innovative ideas for content while working independently and collaboratively as a team. The position extracts information to generate different documentation deliverables, including Release Notes, User Guides, Requirements Specifications, Validation Deliverables, and others. The work will include creating infographics and videos, in addition to editing documents based on standard templates.

Job Responsibilities

Some of the duties and responsibilities of a Technical Writer/Business Analyst include:
Use the product and understand the scope of change.
Understand and analyze provided requirements according to the required document scope and audience.
Track and document changes to the product requirements.
Work with Product Owners, Testers, and Developers to ensure the correctness of the produced documentation.
Review technical documents to make sure that Good Documentation Practices are followed and format the document according to the standard templates.
Create and edit online help content using Adobe Robohelp.

Qualifications

Strong ability to learn and absorb new concepts.
Strong writing and communication skills in English (US).
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to analyze and solve problems.
Ability to understand and document solutions for complex business problems with accuracy.
Experience in using Adobe Robohelp.
Advanced skills in using MS Word.
