About the Job:
HR Coordinator reports directly to the VP of Human. Resources and contributes to the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives. The HR Coordinator will support in providing an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and the ongoing development of a superior workforce. Their main objective will be to coordinate, facilitate and provide excellent support to the HR team as it relates to all facets of human resources.
Responsibilities:
    • Assist and facilitate onboarding activities including background checks, creation of files, and system updates.
    • Assisting employees with enrollment in health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits programs.
    • Update and maintain documentation and Dayforce records.
    • Provide support to the HR Department including maintaining files and compiling new hire employment information.
    • Work with the HR team to evaluate and review HR policy and practices to identify opportunities to improve or enhance processes.
    • Coordinating employee training programs, including new hire orientations.
    • Respond to employee and management inquiries relating to HR policies and procedures; demonstrate good judgment by appropriately escalating issues.
    • Assist with the collection and analysis of HR metrics.
    • Respond to reporting requests including buildout of monthly dashboard for senior leadership approval.
    • Issue various administrative letters (e.g., employment verification, leave certificates, Travel Letter etc.) to employees upon request.
    • Assist in carrying out HR-related activities in the office in collaboration with the local HR team
Requirements:
    • Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management and working towards HR designation is preferred.
    • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role or as an HR assistant
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Proficient in using Adobe PDF Editor to create, edit, and manage PDF documents.
    • Resourceful and flexible with proven problem-solving abilities.
    • Proven organizational and time management skills.
    • Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality while ensuring a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
    • Keen attention to detail.
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Comfortable interacting with employees and various management levels.
    • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
    • Dayforce experience, preferred
