Application Developer II

This Developer (COTS) II will be responsible for collaborating proactively with Applications analysts to translate business and integration requirements into configurable component designs and solutions. The ideal candidate will reflect a mix of strong technical proficiency, application maintenance ownership, and the ability to work effectively with other business and technology personnel and internal customers to provide very responsive support to this global application.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Understanding of Software development lifecycles namely Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and AIM Methodology.
• Will be responsible for developing, implementing, customizing and integrating Oracle e-Business Suite and Salesforce applications with other systems, and providing ongoing support and future enhancements of those solutions.
• Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution
• To develop technical solutions to a pre-defined requirement and develop components including extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports, and workflows independently or working with a lead or as a part of a team
• Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control and testing, and migration standards
• Understand the key integration points, used cross-functionally across different business processes, and use those in solution development for business teams.
• Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution. Troubleshoot issues, find their root cause, and any necessary corrective actions to resolve them permanently
• Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Ability to effectively plan the assigned work tasks and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills:

• Technical skills with Major ERP applications such as Oracle and Salesforce
• Skilled in PL/SQL, SQL, Workflow, Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, Oracle Development Tools.
• Knowledge of different interfacing mechanisms, Web Services, ETL, etc
• Strong understanding of relational databases (including tables, views, indexes, table spaces etc.), including understanding of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and the translation of business requirements into them.
• Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and Release Management.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Oracle and ERP APIs
• In-depth knowledge of Applications code registration procedures
• Good working knowledge in Unix/Linux shell scripting
• Coordinate migrations/implementation of changes between the different Application environments (i.e., Development, Test, and Production).
• Experience in the Interfaces, conversion and data migration between different Oracle ERP modules, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce and 3rd party applications.
• One or more Object Oriented language -Java, C++, C#, etc.
• Medium level knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
• Good understanding of OOP concepts
• Good knowledge of MVC concepts.
• Good understanding of design patterns
• Good understanding of SF Platform architecture
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling including Salesforce.com SOQL query language
• Experience with Salesforce Apex language / Lightning / Salesforce (Salesforce Admin, Salesforce Developer I as required, other certification is a plus)
• Experience with custom Salesforce REST API development is a plus
• Familiarity with development tools such as VS Code GIT

Experience:

• 3+ years of proven experience in designing and building modern enterprise/large-scale applications.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL (advance queries, tuning) and PL/SQL
• 3+ years of experience in Oracle Application Development and Oracle Development Tools
• 3+ years development experience in an R12 Oracle Applications environment is a must, including knowledge in using Oracle Application Object Library (AOL/FND)
• Good experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting
• 2+ years of experience in Force.com, Lightning and the Apex programming language (Salesforce Platform Developer I preferred, SF Platform Admin preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in web application development
• 3+ years of overall Application design/development experience

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent
• Experience in different methodologies related to Web Application Development
• Preferred to know Java or Web Services
• Experience with international or multi-level marketing business
