The Lead Software Engineer for HemoCue is responsible for HemoCue s digital solutions which includes mobile, desktop and cloud applications.
This position is part of the HemoCue s R&D team at Danaher India Development Center (IDC) in Bangalore and will be hybrid. At HemoCue, our vision is to do things easier, to do things better, and to do them right.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Design and Develop the UI/UX targeting mobile and desktop applications as per the product architecture, requirements ensuring adherence to the software development processes.
Code and unit testing of the feature/modules including appropriate design reviews and code inspections.
Deploy the application on Play Store and Desktops.
Investigate software/system problems to isolate the root cause and provide innovative solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (locally & globally) to ensure product releases meet quality, performance, scalability, reliability, responsiveness of applications and schedule goals.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor of Engineering or Masters in software engineering or Masters in Computer Applications or equivalent
8-10 years of proven experience in software development on Android Development using Java and Flutter (Dart)
Hands-on experience with BLE connectivity (Device to Mobile)
Hands-on experience on the HL7 & FHIR.
Knowledge on connectivity in different modes like USB, Serial Port.
Ability to deliver in high-performance, results-oriented and time-bound environment.
Flexibility to work on different areas of the product/platform
Fluent in verbal and written English.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Good understanding of software development processes, preferably for a regulated medical devices environment (ISO13485/FDA)
Work experience in agile/scrum environment.
Good knowledge in SQL (SQL Server or PostGres SQL)
Good to have working experience on cloud, preferably AWS
